February's Close

Currently, I’m enjoying a rainy winter in California. I’m experiencing a lot of disability from chronic migraines + trigeminal neuralgia. I’m spending a lot of time being still and quiet.

Recent knits

I made a couple of “Melt the Ice” hats because they were fun and red is my favorite color. One turned out awful, the other I’ve been wearing. I decided to add my own checkerboard pattern and the words “Abolish Ice” to the one I wear, just to belabor the point of the hat.

I also made Bitty a lil balaclava. He hates it!

I’m now working on a black tweed Weekender sweater that I recently had to frog back quite a ways due to an error, so I’m mad at it. I’m also making a very cozy long alpaca cardigan out of several colors of Rowan felted tweed, which is one of my favorite yarns to knit with. Photos when I’m done.
